Hand in Hand for Harmonious Life is a community project hosted by Guangzhou Service Association for the Handicapped. Through series of community activities, it presented the self-respect, confidence, self-reliance, independence, and other positive aspects of the disabled, meanwhile created an equal and inclusive community with comprehension, respect, concern and help to people of disabilities.


      The harmonious life for the healthy and the disabled is a promising prospect that can be achieved. Before that, it is significant to eliminate the prejudice among common people. As the healthy see the people with disabilities as burden and is unproductive, some may even look down on them, by which does hurt to disabled people. Therefore, the healthy ones should treat the people with disabilities in a rational and objective way, try to get along with them and encourage them to take part in social activities. 

      In the activities held by Guangzhou Service Association for the Handicapped, Humaneotec presented the public of the self-esteem, confidence, self-reliance, independence, courage and other positive aspects on disable people to break the barrier between the healthy and the disabled. It should start from everyone around to create an equal and inclusive community with comprehension, respect, concern and help to the people with disabilities. Hand in hand, be a part to work for a better world.
